What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Kics has been happily married to his wife Teja for over 25 years. They met while attending the University of Illinois and have been true partners in both raising their family and building Westgate Dental Care to the dental office it is today. They have two college-age daughters who are currently attending the University of Notre Dame and the University of Colorado.

As for personal hobbies, Dr. Kics enjoys doing pretty much anything outdoors. You’ll often find him walking his Labradoodle Charlie at nearby forest preserves and paths, rain or shine. These walks are often where he’s able to think about new ideas and decisions for making Westgate Dental Care the special place it is. He especially enjoys hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter! He also loves traveling; some of his favorite trips include Croatia, Switzerland, and Alaska. He takes yearly ski trips to Steamboat, Colorado as well, where his daughters have become avid skiers since an early age. In the future, he hopes to visit Latvia, which is where his parents immigrated from before he was born.
