Primarily, PPO plans will typically have an annual maximum, which is the most your insurance provider is willing to pay for your dentistry in one year. HMO plans will usually require you to see a dentist within the network, which is why they can be more affordable. Studies show those with dental insurance are automatically more likely to have better oral health because they see their dentists more regularly. So, should you choose a PPO or HMO plan?
